Electrical Supervisor
Alder Hey Hospital, Liverpool – Full‑time, Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00.
Lead the delivery of electrical maintenance in a complex healthcare estate, ensuring safe, compliant, and high‑quality service across planned and reactive works.
Responsibilities
* Lead planned and reactive electrical maintenance, ensuring compliance with contract KPIs and safety standards.
* Provide day‑to‑day leadership, technical guidance, and support to the on‑site electrical team.
* Ensure statutory and compliance tasks are completed on time and to required standards.
* Manage subcontractors and coordinate specialist services safely and effectively.
* Deputise for the Electrical Manager and collaborate with stakeholders across the estate.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation/Maintenance + 18th Edition (BS7671).
* Inspection & Testing qualification (C&G 2391 or equivalent).
* Proven supervisory experience within electrical maintenance environments.
* Strong knowledge of HTM standards and compliance requirements.
* Experience managing subcontractors and CAFM systems.
* IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to achieve).

Additional Information – SARC DNA Requirement
This role may require regular entry to high‑risk or forensically clean areas of the Sexual Assault Referral Centre. The successful candidate will be required to provide a DNA sample to be held on the Staff Elimination Database, solely for the purpose of eliminating your DNA from any forensic samples that may be taken at the SARC.
