Estimator (Junior – Senior Level) – Construction Refurbishment
Our client is a well-established construction and refurbishment contractor delivering high-quality internal and external refurbishment projects across London and the surrounding regions. Their work spans a range of sectors including residential blocks, heritage properties, education buildings and other occupied environments.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of refurbishment work, our client is looking to appoint an Estimator at either Junior, Intermediate or Senior level to join their commercial team.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for internal and external refurbishment projects, working closely with the commercial and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing cost estimates and tender submissions for refurbishment projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Measuring and pricing works including internal and external refurbishment packages
• Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Assisting in the preparation of tender reports and cost breakdowns
• Liaising with commercial and operational teams during the bid process
• Identifying value engineering opportunities and cost efficiencies Requirements
Experience working in an estimating role within construction
• Background in internal and external refurbishment projects
• Experience pricing works such as redecoration, repairs, structural alterations or fit-out packages
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to review drawings and specifications and produce accurate costings
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Relevant construction qualification desirable but not essential What’s on Offer
