Mission of the position: In this position, you will be supporting our Head of Sales & Director of Sales Benelux. You will be responsible for generating business & follow up on existing accounts from corporate & MICE segments.
What will you have to do?
* Uses negotiating skills & creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
* Assists with the selling, implementation and follow-through of group sales promotions
* Provides expert knowledge on local destinations
* Evaluate competitors to ensure actions, remain up-to-date and provide qualitative information to their direct manager to assess best practices
* Building successful relationships with partners
* Helps achieving hotels budget.
* Supporting the Group Sales & Events coordinator in converting new leads into confirmed business
* Negotiate, draft and sign agreements for the assigned accounts
* Point of contact for any possible incidents with accounts, responsible for closing the incident and offering a solution to the client.
* Attendance at segment-specific industry events and trade fairs
* Propose, develop and participate in virtual sales actions for the segment, ensuring the participation of their client portfolio and helping increase the number of followers of the TravelLabs platform
* Organise site inspections for their accounts based on business potential by hotel/destination.
* Attend those site inspections that require their presence
What are we looking for?
* 3 years experience in similar position in 4*/5* hotels with high volume of MICE & corporate business
* University degree in Tourism, hotel industry or similar.
* High level of English and French. Geman & Spanish are high value
* Previous experience in event operations, as well as in the BT and TTOO segments.
* Mastery of the Office package.
* Mastery of Sales & Catering tools, Travelclick, Lanyon, Agency targeting, STR, SAP CRM.
* Leadership, results orientation, influence and negotiation, teamwork, global and strategic vision as a key competence.
