Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Early Careers Leads (Summer Placements). One post will be based within the Talent and Organisational Development (TOD) Team and the other in the Brighter Futures Team.
We are looking for two dynamic and enthusiastic individuals with experience working within the early careers environment who will fully support the Brighter Futures Programme of Work. On a daily basis, you will lead on our successful Summer Placements programme ensuring we offer the best opportunities to young people in a wide variety of occupational areas. You\'ll support the development of our programme and student placement framework as well as other areas of early career\'s development.
Responsibilities
* The TOD post will involve working closely with the TOD Business Partner to project manage the internal summer placement programme. This includes identifying suitable placements across Services, managing the full recruitment process, overseeing students during their placements, and carrying out evaluation activities to ensure continuous improvement.
* The Brighter Futures post will support all aspects of the initiative, including marketing and attraction, coordinating employer engagement events, and building strong relationships with local employers. You will also be involved in youth engagement, programme development, delivery, and evaluation.
Qualifications
* You will have experience working within an early careers/youth/learning and development environment and be passionate about supporting the development of our young people. You will also have experience of working with young people from diverse backgrounds. You will be highly motivated to deliver results for our young people and be able to apply project management principles. This role is process focussed and requires exceptional organisational and prioritising skills.
* It is essential that you have a relevant qualification at SCQF Level 7 or above. An assessor/verifier or management qualification would be desirable.
This post is temporary for a period of 23 months.
