About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Partner plays a pivotal role in shaping Rathbones’ talent pipeline. This role focuses on high‑quality direct sourcing, building diverse candidate pools, and elevating the candidate experience at every stage. As well as developing long‑term talent pipelines, you will also be responsible for hiring roles with immediate business needs and time‑critical dependencies, ensuring the organisation can respond quickly and effectively to changing priorities. You will use strong market knowledge and innovative sourcing strategies to attract exceptional talent aligned to Rathbones’ culture, values, and future workforce needs.
Your work will strengthen our employer brand, reduce reliance on agencies, and ensure the business has access to the right talent at the right time and cost.
What you’ll be responsible for
In this role, you’ll lead end‑to‑end recruitment across a range of business areas ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every candidate.
* Proactively source and engage high‑quality talent across multiple channels.
* Build strong talent pipelines and use market insights to shape recruitment strategies.
* Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide timely feedback.
* Use creative attraction methods, including social media, talent communities, and local partnerships.
* Manage relationships with agencies and suppliers, ensuring quality and cost‑effective delivery.
* Support a direct‑sourcing culture and help reduce unnecessary agency spend.
* Lead targeted recruitment campaigns and promote Rathbones’ employer brand.
* Develop fair and inclusive assessment approaches tailored to different roles.
About you
* Proven experience in internal recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within a corporate or financial services environment.
* Strong direct sourcing capability, with experience identifying and engaging passive talent.
* Proficient in using ATS platforms.
* Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and in‑person interactions.
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and delivering against tight deadlines.
