Now let's talk about what you'll do:
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis and commentary.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic decision-making.
* Lead the finance teams input into budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
* Drive cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for financial optimization.
* Collaborate with department heads to deliver actionable financial insights and guidance.
* Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models and reporting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and adherence to financial policies.
* Support year-end audit activities and statutory reporting requirements.
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations to maintain data integrity.
* Provide ad hoc financial analysis to inform and support key business initiatives.
What you'll bring:
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
* Proven experience in a management accounting role.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Excel.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools and financial systems (e.g., Microsoft D365, NetSuite) preferred.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
