The Role: We are looking for an experienced Head of Probate to lead our Wills and Probate practice in Manchester. This is a senior role, perfect for someone with a strong track record in managing complex estates, trusts, and probate matters, who is comfortable advising high-net-worth clients and leading a team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage complex probate cases, including multi-jurisdictional estates and high-value trusts Advise clients on estate planning, administration, and succession strategies Lead and mentor a team of probate specialists, ensuring high standards of service and compliance Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, executors, trustees, and family members Liaise with tax advisors, financial planners, and legal professionals on complex estates Ensure all work is delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with regulatory requirements Drive continuous improvement and best practices within the probate team Requirements: Extensive experience in Wills, Probate, and Trusts, particularly dealing with complex and high-value estates Proven ability to manage and lead a team of professionals Strong understanding of UK probate law, estate administration, and tax implications Experience advising high-net-worth clients with discretion and professionalism Excellent communication, organisational, and client management skills What We Offer: Competitive salary up to £80,000 dependent on experience Hybrid working arrangement Exposure to high-value, complex cases with an elite client base Leadership role with the opportunity to shape and grow the probate practice Supportive, collaborative working environment
