Position Overview
Business Support Officer (BSO) – Programmes Export Operations team, Bristol, UK.
Hybrid working – 2‑3 days per week on site. Salary £28,000 (circa, depends on experience). The role requires British citizenship or dual UK nationality with British citizenship, and successful candidates will undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks.

Responsibilities
* Provide proactive, accurate administrative support to senior management and the training team, including diary management, travel arrangements, and expense processing
* Organise meetings, workshops, training days, and events, and take and manage related actions
* Create and maintain MS Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, MS OneNote and MS Word documents
* Coordinate with internal and external customers and stakeholders
* Assist new starters within the team
* Raise purchase requisitions and process invoices using MBDA online tools
* Understand and utilise MBDA systems, tools and policies
* Support wider UKSF activities, including participation in working groups
* Adapt to varied and ad‑hoc tasks as required
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience in a similar Business/Administrative Support role, managing complex diaries and travel arrangements
* High resilience, strong communication, organisational skills and keen attention to detail
* Forward‑thinking mindset with a focus on improving efficiencies
* Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, OneNote)
* Ability to prioritise, multitask and manage workload effectively
* Enthusiastic team player, demonstrating integrity and maintaining confidentiality
* Willingness to learn and extend responsibilities beyond the current role
* Desire to develop into the team’s knowledge point of contact
* Confidence building effective working relationships at all levels
* Participation in UK Support Function and personal development initiatives
