Description
* End to end processing of payroll — fortnightly and monthly.
* Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner for all employees.
* Ensure compliance with relevant payroll legislation and company policies.
* Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
* Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring data integrity.
* Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to reconcile payroll accounts.
* Generate payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
* Assist with end‑of‑year payroll activities, including P60 and P11D preparation.
* Support the rollout of new payroll systems including data migration, testing, and training.
* Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
A Successful Interim Payroll Officer Should Have
* Previous experience in payroll processing within a professional environment.
* Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
