Job Description

Job Role : Learning & Engagement Manager

Working Hours : 40 hours per week

Location : Anchor Group Services Head Office -Carlton House,Chester Business Park, CH4 9QE

Reporting to : Operations Director

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to joinAnchor Group Services as Learning & Engagement Manager, leading the nextphase of development for our in-house learning function, the Anchor Academy .

Following a period of significant growth, we arelooking for a proactive and experienced learning professional to drive forwardour learning, development and engagement agenda, ensuring our people have theskills, confidence, and motivation to deliver exceptional service across ournational operations .

This is a hands-on, field-based role thatcombines the strategic oversight of company-wide learning and engagement withdirect programme design and delivery. You will work closely with senior leadership,HR and the operations team to embed a strong learning culture and positiveemployee experience, supporting our continued success and growth .

A company car will be provided, and you shouldbe based within the Northwest, with flexibility to travel nationally whenrequired .

MainResponsibilities :

* Lead the design and delivery of the Annual Learningand Engagement Plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives andoperational needs .
* D esign, develop and deliver engaging, compliantand role-specific learning programmes across security, cleaning and parkingdivisions .
* Work closely with Directors, Managers and HR toidentify skills gaps, development needs and engagement challenges, implementingtargeted learning and engagement solutions .
* O versee company induction and onboarding toensure consistent standards and timely induction of all new starters .
* Promote a culture of continuous learning,development and employee engagement aligned to Anchor’s values .
* Lead the ongoing development and growth of theAnchor Academy as a recognised and revenue-generating learning brand.
* D eliverand support licence-linked, accredited and vocational qualifications (e.g. SIA,First Aid, Mental Health First Aid).
* S upport the development of blended learningsolutions, including digital, e-learning and video-based content, maximisingtechnology and available AI functionality
* S upport management capability through coaching,mentoring and development programmes .


Requirements

Skills, Experience &Qualifications Required :

* R ecognised training qualification, which couldinclude CIPD, or assessor and/or IQA qualification .
* P roven experience in a learning, trainingmanagement or L&D leadership role, ideally within facilities management,security, or cleaning sectors .
* SIA licence knowledge or instructor experience, ideallyable to support licence-linked training compliance .
* First Aid and Mental Health First Aid instructorcertification (or equivalent recognised qualifications).
* E xperience designing and delivering vocationaland compliance-focused and engagement led learning programmes .
* S trong understanding of statutory compliance,British Standards, and industry regulations relevant to security, cleaning, andparking services .
* Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills,with the ability to influence at all levels .
* Commercially aware, with experience managingbudgets or revenue-generating training programmes .
* P roficient in Microsoft 365 and familiar with LMSplatforms and digital learning tools .
* FullUK driving licence.
