The Governing Body are keen to appoint an inspiring and motivated Teacher of Religious Education who is passionate about their subject and committed to nurturing the spiritual, moral and academic development of all learners.
The successful candidate will primarily teach Religious Education, with opportunities to contribute more broadly to the Humanities faculty depending on experience and expertise. You will be enthusiastic about RE, able to bring faith, ethics and theology to life in the classroom, and dedicated to supporting pupils to think critically, reflect deeply and grow as compassionate, informed individuals within a caring, Christian community.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
1. Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all learners.
2. Shares our Catholic ethos and is supportive of the spiritual and moral development of pupils (you do not need to be Catholic, but must be willing to support the school’s mission).
3. Can deliver engaging and challenging RE lessons across Key
4. Works well as part of a collaborative and caring team.
5. Is committed to safeguarding, wellbeing, and the holistic development of young people.
6. Has strong communication and organisational skills.
