Duties and responsibilities
1. Assisting the Pre-Assessment team in the provision of exemplary patient care
2. Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
3. Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person
4. Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies
Who we're looking for
5. Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
6. Previous Pre-Assessment (POA) experience would be an advantage
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
8. NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
9. Phlebotomy skills would be a distinct advantage
10. Ideally experience in the following: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations, however training can be given.
Working Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday - shifts between 8am - 4pm.
