Role Overview
The Social Media Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and performance of all content across The Thomas Bros’ platforms, including YouTube, podcast distribution, and social media.
Working closely with our Senior Talent & Operations Manager and the internal production team, this role ensures content is planned strategically, delivered on time, and optimised for growth across platforms.
This is a full-time role, ideally suited to someone based locally in Stockport or the surrounding area, with the ability to travel (driving preferred).
Key Responsibilities
Content Planning
Own the overall content planning process for The Thomas Bros brand.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing weekly and monthly content plans
* Aligning podcast, YouTube, and social media content
* Collaborating with The Thomas Bros on creative output
Content Calendar Management
Maintain the master content calendar across all platforms, including:
* Podcast releases
* YouTube uploads
* Social content
* Campaign content
Campaign Delivery Coordination
Work with our Senior Talent & Operations Manager to ensure brand partnerships and campaigns are delivered smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
* Coordinating campaign deliverables
* Aligning talent, production, and publishing
* Ensuring deadlines are met
YouTube Platform Management
Support The Thomas Bros by managing the YouTube platform strategy.
Responsibilities include:
* Upload scheduling
* Video optimisation (titles, tags, descriptions)
* Supporting channel growth
* Reviewing performance analytics
Asset Organisation
Maintain the content asset library.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing folder structures
* Overseeing asset storage
* Ensuring assets are delivered on time for publishing
Analytics & Insights
Track and report on performance across:
* YouTube
* Podcast video performance
* Social media clips
Provide insights to help improve content performance.
Team Coordination
Act as the bridge between creative, operations, and production teams.
Work closely with the Senior Talent & Operations Manager, Podcast & Development Manager, Social Content Executive, and The Thomas Bros.
Requirements
* 3–5+ years’ experience in social media, content, or digital marketing roles
* Proven experience managing multi-platform content (YouTube, podcasts, social media)
* Strong organisational and project management skills
* Experience working with creators, talent, or media brands is highly desirable
* Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into action
* Full-time availability
* Based in or near Stockport
* Driving licence preferred, with willingness to travel as needed
