This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable manufacturing environment working a day shift pattern Monday to Friday, supporting the maintenance and reliability of production equipment across the facility.
The Role As Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring production machinery and site services are maintained to a high standard, supporting operational efficiency across the factory.
Key responsibilities include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery Responding to breakdowns and identifying root causes of faults Maintaining production equipment including conveyors, fillers, packers and washers Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime Supporting modifications and improvements to machinery where possible Liaising with external engineering contractors when required Ensuring contractors operate safely and in line with site health and safety standards Requirements To be considered for the role, you should have: Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment Knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics and motor drives Experience maintaining production or packaging equipment Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills A recognised mechanical or electrical engineering qualification Experience within food manufacturing xxuwjjq or FMCG environments would be beneficial but is not essential.
