The Role Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons that inspire students and promote academic progress across all key stages. Play a key role in the development of the Science curriculum and contribute to departmental improvement strategies. Use effective assessment and feedback methods to track pupil progress and raise attainment. Maintain excellent classroom behaviour through positive management and high expectations. Contribute to a supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity, experimentation, and scientific discovery. Engage in whole-school initiatives and take part in ongoing professional development.The Successful Candidate Will: Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent). Hold a degree or equivalent in a Science-related subject. Demonstrate outstanding teaching practice and a passion for inspiring young people. Have experience of delivering Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable). Have excellent behaviour management and communication skills. Show evidence of raising pupil achievement and improving outcomes.
