Senior Business Development Manager
Software Sales - Logistics
Up to £90,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
Remote with UK Travel
Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with experience in selling Logistics Software Sales? Our client is a global Logistics and Supply Chain Software Solution provider. This role involves developing and converting a sales pipeline, accountability for individual sales reporting, supporting sales initiatives, and collaborating across the business to convert significant opportunities with corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Develop a new business sales pipeline aligned with sales KPIs, ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
* Strategic projects/bids: Coordinate strategic bid responses.
* Key/global accounts: Maximize opportunities in upselling and cross-selling with key clients; assume sales leadership responsibilities as appropriate.
* Culture Building: Promote a motivated sales culture focused on success, inclusivity, and professional growth.
Client relationship management
* Client-centricity: Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions.
* Source and Selection: Generate sales-qualified leads from own activity and network to meet KPIs.
Business Partnership
* Communication: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Analytics teams to align strategies.
* Deal focus: Identify and support new business opportunities to drive revenue.
* Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee sales pipeline, ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
* Lead generation: Work with Marketing to drive lead generation.
* Data-driven: Develop and track KPIs, use insights for strategy and operational improvements.
Experience
* Previous experience as a Business Development Manager.
* Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Software Sales.
