Overview
This is an obstetrics and gynaecology registrar level role for a doctor keen to obtain CESR and already progressing towards that achievement. The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at GHNHSFT has an excellent track record of supporting non-training grade doctors to achieve CESR and subsequently consultant posts. There will be opportunities to complete ATSMs in the successful candidate's area of interest and the candidate will be encouraged to participate in teaching, quality improvement and their own professional development. This post would suit a doctor who has completed the MTI programme successfully and has their MRCOG. This is a 12-month contract with a mid-point review as to whether this will be extended further. The post will be based mainly at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital/Cheltenham General Hospital with some clinical commitments at community sites. The contract for this post will be held by Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (GHNHSFT).
