Head of Finance / Financial Controller / Senior Finance Manager
Hybrid - Milton Keynes (2 days office / 3 days home)
Butler Rose is delighted to be supporting a not-for-profit organisation on a retained campaign to appoint their next Financial Controller.
This is not a typical finance leadership role. It's an opportunity to join a growing organisation of over 50 people in Milton Keynes whose focus is on making a difference, not just the bottom line. The successful candidate will lead a small finance team handling a high volume of transactions, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance and insightful analysis that will guide decision-making across the organisation.
The role will suit a qualified accountant who is as comfortable rolling up their sleeves as they are leading from the front. Experience within charities, not-for-profit or SME environments would be ideal, but transferable expertise from other sectors will also be considered.
With significant investment in systems and automation already underway, this is a chance to shape processes and influence how finance supports the wider mission. With our client being a not for profit organisation, salary will be competive for the sector but will not be able to compete with a blue chip / corporate multi site employer.
