About The Role
The Ecotricity Technology department is a small, friendly team with a strong focus on results. Everyone is committed to delivering both individually and as part of the group or project. Ecotricity has a robust internal team supporting and developing solutions, including Salesforce Service and Sales. This Salesforce Administrator role involves delivering system changes and improvements, leveraging your experience to maximize our Salesforce investment. You will help maintain and grow our Salesforce platform, used by our internal sales and service colleagues, our customers through our mobile app and online account, as well as prospective customers looking to join us. We utilize a variety of Salesforce services, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Omnistudio, and Mobile Publisher.
What you will do
* Work as part of a team of Salesforce admins and developers to deliver Salesforce changes.
* Collaborate with the Salesforce Tech Lead to develop best practices, streamline processes, and ensure high-quality output.
* Provide technical input during discussions with management and stakeholders.
* Handle new functionalities, changes, and faults, including complex tasks as needed.
* Seek opportunities to upskill and cross-train with peers regularly.
* Contribute research on new beneficial technologies and process improvements.
We promote a good work-life balance, with management typically working in the office two to three days per week and from home on other days.
About You
You will have substantial technical experience administering a Salesforce org, including building automations with Flow, integrating with other platforms, supporting end users, and streamlining processes. Knowledge of the Energy industry or Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud is a plus but not essential. You should be comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders, keeping them informed, and routinely presenting and demoing solutions. Strong communication skills for diverse audiences are required. We support your growth, but you should be self-motivated, delivery-oriented, and proactive in seeking continual improvement. You should aim for best practices and technical excellence.
Knowledge and Skills
* Extensive Salesforce Administration experience with Sales & Service Cloud.
* Proficiency in creating automations and UI elements using Flow.
* Experience with Git and a DevOps release process is desirable.
* Experience with Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud (Vlocity) is a bonus.
* Basic development experience with Apex is advantageous.
* Experience working in an agile environment using Jira.
* Problem-solving attitude.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
