SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products, construction products and specialist manufacturing products as well as roofing and exterior products.
We are currently looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to join our head office in Sheffield, who will lead the execution of our communications effort to our customer market sectors in order to engage, acquire, retain and grow key customer target audiences.
What you’ll be doing:
* Create and deliver a communications plan that includes multi channel marketing communications campaigns.
* Increase exposure to our customers of the SIG Own Label brands and products and ensure all marketing material adheres to CCPI regulations.
* Work closely with our key suppliers to develop joint marketing campaigns to meet our category objectives.
* Creation and delivery of an annual improvement plan for our website in order to meet digital objectives.
* Manage marketing spend in line with budget
* Ensure visibility of marketing throughout the business network through branch visits along with regional and divisional meeting attendance.
* Analyse and identify opportunities for change and continuous improvement by challenging existing practices and recommending best practice from market.
* Manage relationships with all third party agencies ensuring they deliver results and we receive good value for money.
* Support the Head of Marketing with ad hoc projects upon request.
What you’ll bring:
* Ideally educated to degree level and posses proven experience in this type of role, ideally within a similar industry.
* Marketing / Customer recruitment experience.
* A passionate self motivated person with high energy and resilience.
* Competent digital marketer with good knowledge of social media.
* Experience in briefing marketing agencies and managing projects to deliver great campaigns.
* Pragmatic problem solver and excellent interpersonal and communication skills with sufficient credibility to be able to influence stakeholders at all levels with the business and externally.
* Excellent negotiating skills and can work strategically to realise the organisational goals and objectives.
* Able to demonstrate integrity, fairness and professionalism.
