Electrician

Salary: £39,113
Hours: 40 hours per week
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our busy Greatwell Heating and Greatwell Works team. The role involves undertaking all aspects of electrical work related to the repairs, installations, and maintenance of Greatwell Homes' tenanted and void properties.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Providing all general electrical services, including installations and repairs within occupied and vacant properties, ensuring high standards of work.
2. Carrying out electrical upgrades, rewires, fuse board installations, and related tasks in accordance with current regulations.
3. Supporting the delivery of the EICRS programme in occupied homes, including providing satisfactory certificates after remedial work.
4. Identifying electrical faults or defects, reporting them via PDA, and ensuring a safe environment for customers and staff.
5. Completing detailed risk assessments before starting work, in compliance with health and safety policies and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
About You
1. Possessing detailed technical knowledge demonstrated through experience and/or a relevant NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent).
2. Holding City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations and City & Guilds Inspection & Testing 2391-08 qualifications.
3. Having experience in an electrician role.
4. Experience working in occupied domestic properties and engaging with customers, including vulnerable individuals.
