This role requires a highly skilled and motivated individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, with experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement smart manufacturing strategies to enhance production capabilities and efficiency.
* Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement using data-driven methodologies.
* Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate IoT solutions and data analytics into manufacturing operations.
* Utilize machine learning and AI to enhance process controls and predictive maintenance strategies.
* Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new manufacturing technologies.
* Train and support manufacturing staff on new technologies and processes.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all manufacturing operations.
* Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.
* Monitor production metrics and prepare reports for management on performance and improvement initiatives.
* Act as retrofit coordinator for business and drive adoption of MT DBS tools (SAP/LMES).
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
* Proven experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role, preferably in a smart manufacturing environment (minimum 5 years).
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Familiarity with IoT technologies, data analytics, and automation systems.
* Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
* Strong presentation skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
