Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physics Lead to join our dedicated Science Department. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning experience of our students, fostering a love for physics and scientific inquiry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Physics Department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
* Develop and implement an engaging curriculum that meets national standards and promotes academic achievement.
* Inspire and mentor colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
* Monitor student progress and implement effective intervention strategies where necessary.
* Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Physics or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching Physics at secondary level, with a track record of excellent student outcomes.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support colleagues.
* A passion for education and a commitment to continuous professional development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
