Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting flexible Teaching Assistants who are seeking to work within primary schools in the Wigan LEA this academic year.
With an increase in demand for support staff leading into the back end of the academic year, Teaching Personnel wishes to hear from Graduates, aspiring teachers, and experienced Teaching Assistants who wish to work on a flexible, full-time, or part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teaching Assistant – Full-time, part-time, and flexible ad-hoc positions available
* Gain invaluable experience in a variety of primary schools within the Wigan LEA
* Supporting pupils across Key Stage One and Key Stage Two, working in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
* Previous experience within a primary school setting is preferred, but not essential

Responsibilities may include:
* Assisting the teacher in class, helping them manage the behavior of students
* Leading small intervention sessions with students that require additional support
* Working alongside pupils on a 1:1 basis
* Receiving complete support from senior members of staff and heads of department
* Opportunity to cover lessons, delivering pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
