Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained to the highest standards. The role requires a thorough understanding of dental anatomy, proficiency in medical imaging, and familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) technologies.
Duties
* Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
* Perform scaling and polishing of teeth, applying fluoride treatments as necessary.
* Take and interpret dental radiographs using medical imaging techniques.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
* Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment plans and progress.
* Collaborate with dentists to develop tailored treatment plans for patients.
* Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Experience
* A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene is essential.
* Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory for newly qualified candidates.
* Knowledge of CAD software is advantageous for assisting with treatment planning.
* Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and a strong understanding of dental anatomy are essential skills for this role.
