From satellite links to next-generation sensing systems, we design and manufacture high-performance components and subsystems—including SSPAs, filters, and transceivers—ensuring seamless connectivity and precision at the highest frequencies.

Role Overview:

We seek a Mechanical Engineer to provide comprehensive and strategic mechanical engineering leadership throughout microwave and RF subsystem projects. This role ensures excellence from initial concept through to final execution, facilitating seamless collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal results.

Summary of Responsibilities:

1. Creating models and drawings using 3D CAD in SolidWorks
2. Managing and controlling engineering drawings and documents according to Drawing Office standards
3. Compiling manufacturing documentation and supporting reliability analysis and testing
4. Managing changes through ECN procedures
5. Preparing drawings in accordance with ISO and BS standards
6. Developing drawings for machined, punched, cast, or moulded parts
7. Investigating new suppliers for existing and emerging technologies to reduce costs
8. Researching new materials and manufacturing processes
9. Participating in design reviews as part of the ISO process
10. Reviewing mechanical properties of parts and assemblies using 3D analysis software (thermal, mechanical stress)
11. Designing jigs and fixtures
12. Maintaining and improving existing process, maintenance, and standards documentation
13. Deploying manufacturing documentation using current systems

Requirements:

1. Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of industrial experience
2. Proficiency in 2D and 3D Solid Modelling (SolidWorks preferred)
3. Experience in 3D thermal and stress analysis using finite element modelling tools
4. Knowledge of machining, casting, moulding, coating, and plating processes (2D & 3D)
5. Understanding of RoHS and WEEE compliance standards
6. Highly motivated individual capable of effective interfacing with internal and external customers
