POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide a full range of occupational therapy services in a home care setting. Support children through Early Intervention and children up to age 18 as part of our interdisciplinary team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
2. Experience: One or more years of general OT experience with Bachelor's degree
3. License Requirements: Vermont Occupational Therapy licensure
4. General: Hold a valid driver's license, have a reliable, registered vehicle with insurance, and possess a broad clinical knowledge in occupational therapy relevant to home care treatment
WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Travel required
2. Work may be in community-based settings, clients' homes, and outdoors
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Performance Standards: Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services, including assessments, treatment plans, patient and caregiver education, and collaboration with team members.
2. Professional Accountability: Demonstrate commitment to organizational mission, comply with policies, communicate effectively, protect confidentiality, adhere to safety practices, seek quality improvements, and participate in ongoing education and team activities.
