Our client is a FTSE 100 business, and one of the largest, leading, global Retailers based in Leicester, seeking a Finance Analyst to join the commercial team on a permanent, full-time basis!
Role Overview
As a Finance Analyst based in Leicester, you will be responsible for:
1. Providing reports on sales and conducting analysis of these reports
2. Regular reporting on a daily or weekly basis
3. Partnering with the Commercial Finance teams to provide reliable information and insights for decision-making
4. Deputising for the Finance Manager, attending key meetings with senior management, and providing analysis as needed
5. Utilising software to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources
6. Maintaining reports and dashboards to track progress, identify inefficiencies, and measure KPIs
7. Communicating project updates, findings, and recommendations to key stakeholders
Candidate Requirements
The ideal Finance Analyst will have:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Part-Qualified (actively working towards one of these qualifications)
* Experience as an analyst with strong reporting skills and an inquisitive mindset
* IT literacy and advanced Excel skills
* Ability to prioritize workloads effectively
