Duties as a Teaching Assistant:
* Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
* Work one-to-one or with small groups of students to provide additional support.
* Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
* Monitor and track the progress of students, offering help as needed.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
* Support the social and emotional development of students.
* Assist with the general welfare of students, including in outdoor activities and during break times.
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students.
* An understanding of how to support students with varying learning needs.
* A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* A willingness to undertake training and professional development.
