Our reputation has been built by placing the engineers and technical leaders behind these companies.

Over the past few years, that’s evolved.

The same clients are now asking a different question. Not just how to build the product, but how to take it to market.

They’re hiring CROs, VP Sales, VP Marketing, Heads of Growth, Solutions Architects and Sales Engineers. The commercial leadership that turns strong technology into a scalable business.

We’ve started building that capability within Realm.

Now we’re looking for someone to lead it.

The Role

This is a Head of GTM Search position. You will own and grow Realm's go-to-market recruiting practice across the US and Europe.

The foundation exists. A small team. A growing client base. A strong reputation in the markets that matter. Your job is to build on that and make Realm the firm serious technology companies call when they need to hire commercial leadership.

It is a player-coach role. You will carry a personal billings target and run searches yourself, while also developing a team of consultants.

That dual expectation matters. We are not looking for someone who has graduated out of billing and now manages from a distance. We want a leader who is still hungry, still curious, still motivated by the craft of an executive search placed well.

What You Will Be Doing

Running retained searches for GTM leadership roles — CRO, VP Sales, VP Marketing, Head of Growth and commercial teams i.e. Solutions Architects and Sales Engineers — inside some of the most interesting technology companies being built today.

Winning new clients. Building genuine relationships with founders, executives and investors. Being a trusted voice in the hiring decisions that shape these businesses.

Developing a team. Coaching consultants on business development, search delivery and how to become true market specialists.

Positioning Realm. The long-term goal is to build a reputation in GTM search that mirrors what we already have in engineering and technical leadership.

What We Are Looking For

Seven or more years in executive search or specialist recruitment, with at least two years leading or developing a team.

A strong personal billing record and a genuine instinct for business development.

Experience working in technology, SaaS, venture or scaleup markets — and the confidence to hold a conversation with a founder or C-suite executive as a peer.

You should understand what makes a great commercial hire in a high-growth technology company. Not from a distance, but because you have done the work.
