Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workshop Controller to oversee the daily operations of our workshop.
As a HGV Vehicle Maintenance Workshop, we inspect and repair Trucks & Trailers from large transport companies across the UK. This requires planning and heavy communication for each job to be completed within a timely manner to suit customer needs.

Duties
* Ordering Parts Required With Suppliers
* Reading Job sheets And Updating With Customers
* Booking In Jobs / Communicating Via Emails / Phone Calls
* Send Paperwork Within A 24hr Timeframe
* Ticking Off Deliveries From Suppliers
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to workshop activities and inventory management.
Working as a Team to ensure smooth day to day operations of the Business.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a background in administrative tasks, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a blend of office experience and Parts Ordering / Mechanical or Workshop Background would be desired, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.
Experience
* Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy in data entry and documentation.
