SUPPLY CHAIN AND LOGISTICS MANAGER

THE ROLE
Planning and coordinating the transportation of materials across global locations
Overseeing warehousing, packaging and distribution processes to ensure efficiency
Tracking shipments and address delays, discrepancies, or logistical challenges promptly
Ensuring that all logistics activities comply with local, national, and international trade regulations, including customs and import/export laws
Staying updated on changes in regulations and adjusting processes accordingly
Conducting audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards and address any violations
Collaborating with third-party logistics providers, customs brokers and vendors to maintain smooth operations
Negotiating contracts with logistics providers to optimise cost and service quality
Acting as the main point of contact for regulatory agencies regarding compliance matters
Identify and mitigate risks in the logistics and compliance processes, including delays, damage, or legal issues
Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain
Providing regular reports on logistics performance, compliance status, and key metrics to leadership
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Considerable experience in logistics and compliance management
A degree qualification in supply chain management, logistics or similar would be advantageous
Strong understanding of international trade laws and customs regulations
Certifications in logistics or compliance (e.g., CLTD, CCLS) are desirable xxuwjjq
Proficiency in logistics management software and systems (e.g., SAP, TMS)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and negotiation skills for managing vendors and regulatory agencies
Ability to manage complex logistics operations across multiple regions
