Summary
We are an inclusive, ambitious mainstream primary school with high aspirations for all learners. Alongside our main school and preschool, we are proud to have developed Butterfly Class — an innovative, teacher-led SEND provision supporting children across EYFS and Key Stage 1 with autism and speech and language needs. This provision is a vital and growing part of our school community, designed to provide specialist, nurturing support while ensuring children remain connected to the wider life of the school.
We are now seeking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants (TA2 and TA1) to join our dedicated Butterfly Class team.
These positions are temporary until March 2027, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:15pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
These roles offer an exciting opportunity to work within a highly supportive, skilled team focused on delivering tailored provision for children with autism and speech and language needs.
The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting pupils' learning, communication, emotional regulation and independence. Working under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCo, you will help create a structured, nurturing and engaging environment that enables every child to thrive.
Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
