As our new Service Delivery Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting NHS clients and helping them get the most value from the services we provide. You’ll be part of NHS SBS – a friendly, collaborative team that’s proud to support the NHS and committed to delivering service excellence. You’ll work closely with stakeholders at different levels, helping them understand performance, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
This position is predominantly home based, but there is an expectation to attend meetings at our Salford office once/ twice per month or where business needs are required. Our modern Salford office sits in an iconic waterfront location positioned on the historic Manchester Ship Canal.
What you'll be doing:
1. Developing and maintaining trusted relationships with senior and mid–level client stakeholders, acting as their first point of contact throughout the service lifecycle.
2. Monitoring service delivery performance against SLAs and proactively demonstrating achievements to clients.
3. Identifying service issues and driving improvements in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
4. Managing service complaints, identifying trends and working with stakeholders to implement solutions.
5. Supporting growth by identifying upsell, cross–sell and minor works opportunities.
6. Ensuring client adherence to best practice and embedding service consumption models effectively.
What you’ll bring:
7. Proven experience in service management or contract management within a shared services or similar environment.
8. Strong understanding of commercial contracts and commercial models.
9. Experience identifying and delivering service improvement initiatives.
10. Ability to build strong working relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
11. Strong organisational, analytical and time–management skills.
12. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
It would be great if you had:
13. Experience in NHS sector sales or service delivery in a BPO environment.
14. Knowledge of NHS finance, procurement or HR.
15. AI or data literacy.

Salary: Up to £45k Dependent upon experience and development needs
