* EarlyHelp Service is based within Children and Family Services. It is apreventive service which offers support and advice to families withchildren aged 018 years that live in or attend a school in Enfield.We are looking for enthusiastic and able social worker with atleast 2 years post qualifying experience to join the Early HelpService.
* Wewill expect excellent writing skills clear understanding of riskand good assessmentskills.
* Thepost holder will have a varied caseload offering support to empowerparents / carers to build on family s strengths preventing familybreakdown and the involvement of statutoryservices.
* Thepost holder will be accountable to the Early Help Service DeputyTeammanager.
To have significant experience of direct work with children s youngpeople and their families in the family home or in the community.Experience of working effectively in co-operation and partnershipwith a range of communities, partner agencies, private sectorbodies, public agencies, voluntary bodies, and statutory agenciesappropriate to the service area. Working as a member of amulti-disciplinary team and in partnership with parents,professional and voluntary sector to meet the needs of vulnerablechildren and families who have multiple and complex needs toachieve sustainable and positive change. Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills with the ability to work assertively toachieve sustainable and positive change. Including negotiation andproblem solving in a multi-disciplinary setting. Good writtenskills and the ability to carry out assessments, written reportsand evaluating outcomes. keep accurate records, organise, plan andcoordinate work. Ability to keep accurate records, organise, planand coordinate work and proficient use of IT systems e.g. Outlook,MS Office, and electronic case management systems. Experience ofworking with complex case reviews such as multi-agency professionalmeetings e.g. Multi Agency Panels, Safeguarding or TAFs (teamsaround the family). Trained to deliver accredited parentingprogrammes.
