ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in the commercial delivery of civil and infrastructure projects across Europe, working closely with project teams, clients, and supply chain partners to ensure cost efficiency and contractual compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing project finances, including valuations, variations, cost reporting, and subcontractor payments.
2. Ensuring all commercial activities align with company policies and local contract requirements.
3. Working collaboratively with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver profitable outcomes.
4. Preparing accurate monthly reports and forecasts to support senior management.
5. Contributing to the setup and commercial management of new projects across multiple European regions.
REQUIREMENTS
6. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within Civil Engineering, Groundworks, or Infrastructure sectors.
7. Strong understanding of commercial management principles and contract administration (NEC, FIDIC, or JCT experience advantageous).
8. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a client-focused mindset.
9. Willingness to travel or be based on projects across Europe.
10. Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
11. English fluency essential; additional European language skills are an advantage but not needed.
