Associate – Executive Search (Private Equity, Chair & CEO Hiring)

London | Hybrid (minimum 3 days in office)
A large executive search and leadership advisory firm seeks an Associate to join the Private Equity team. This position has opened due to the promotion of a current team member and represents an excellent opportunity to build a career in executive search at the most senior level.
The role
The Associate will contribute to searches for Chair, CEO and senior general management appointments within private equity-backed companies across Europe. The role involves:
* Conducting structured research to identify and map potential candidates.
* Analysing sectors and markets to build a strong understanding of client needs.
* Supporting Partners and Principals in candidate assessment and client engagement.
* Preparing reports, candidate materials and market insights with accuracy and clarity.
* Working as part of a high-performing, collaborative team.
Candidate profile
My client is open on sector background, but we are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
* A strong academic track record and intellectual curiosity.
* The ability to absorb new information quickly and develop expertise in unfamiliar areas.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A commitment to working in the office at least three days per week.
* Resilience, organisation and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
