Role

Based with Parking Control Management in Slough, as a Sales and Account Manager you will play a key role in driving business growth by generating new leads, developing opportunities through proactive outreach, and presenting our services to prospective clients. The role involves regular engagement with clients through virtual and in‑person meetings, site visits, and industry events, as well as creating high‑quality sales proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing new business while maintaining accurate CRM records.

You will nurture and grow key accounts by building strong client relationships, addressing concerns through to resolution, and contributing to wider Group Business Development initiatives to expand and strengthen the existing portfolio.

This role has the option of being enrolled on to a Level 4 Sales Executive apprenticeship, offering structured training and on‑the‑job experience. You will be coached by department leaders who will challenge and mentor you to develop your sales, technical and communication skills, work with a highly skilled and collaborative team, and grow your professional development while exceeding client demands and continuous improvement projects.


Responsibilities And Duties

* Establish new business through lead generation and regular cold contact.
* Attend virtual and in‑person client meetings and site visits.
* Present our services to new clients.
* Participate in trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings.
* Provide timely updates to the CRM to capture all sales activity.
* Create quality sales proposals matching client requirements and follow up through to contract.
* Negotiate contracts and packages and close new business.
* Build strong rapport with key accounts to grow the existing portfolio.
* See client concerns through to completion, including handling difficult conversations and innovative solutions.
* Drive forward Business Development initiatives.


Who You Are

* Sales or Account Management experience is preferred, but not essential.
* Approach situations with an open and curious mind.
* Confident communicator.
* Ability to take on challenges with an eye for future opportunity.
* Ability to simplify complex problems and think creatively to solve them.
* Eager to establish a long‑term sales career with the Agena Group.

Salary

£28,000 per annum, dependant on experience.


Hours

40 per week with 1 hour for lunch. Office hours are 9 am - 5 pm.


Location

Slough.


Office details

Free onsite parking. Smart‑casual dress code Monday‑Thursday, dress down Friday.

Our selection process: Application – interview on site with role‑related task.

You must be able to legally live and work in the UK without sponsorship.

Full UK driving licence required with less than 6 points; this role is subject to motor insurance approval, and continued employment depends on maintaining eligibility to drive under the company’s insurance policy.
