We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Database Administrator to join our database team. Your role will focus on ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of our data systems across the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of database systems across NCA sites, managing deployment of database servers, storage systems, and associated infrastructure.
* Provide technical leadership and support in diagnosing and resolving database issues and incidents efficiently, guiding team members to minimise downtime and disruptions to healthcare services.
* Implement advanced security measures, including access controls, encryption technologies, and monitoring systems, to protect database environments and sensitive data while ensuring compliance with NHS security policies and regulations.
