General Operative £25,563.96 Barnstaple Permanent, Full Time We are looking to recruit a General Operativeto join our Home2Home Response team.

You willassistin the delivery of our maintenance programme through the effective and coordinated support of multi skilled and general operatives in Barnstaple and the surrounding areas.
This is a 37 hours per week role.
The main responsibilities of the roles are: Supporting the Response team inmaintainingproperties efficiently and effectively.
Working alongside our team of Multi Skilled Operatives (MSO) in supporting larger work projects or thoserequiringmore than one person.
Assistingon site with general labouring and delivery duties, including manual handling tasks.
Loading and unloading all debris/materials as required by the MSO from or to stores, site or place of disposal.
Assistingin the purchasing of materials or hiring of tools or plant as instructed by the MSO.
About You You will be looking to work for a supportive company delivering valuable services to the local community.
You will have a basic knowledge of the building industry with experienceassistingin one or more of the following areas; brickwork / blockwork, paving, plastering / rendering, roofing, carpentry, fencing, decoration.
You will have working knowledge of health & safety principles.
You will work well in a team environment and be supportive of others.
Hold a fulldriverslicence.
