Tutor / Assessor Electrical Installation
Location: Northampton (Free Parking)
This is a full-time, permanent position delivering high-quality electrical education and support to apprentices. You will play a vital role in helping learners develop practical skills, confidence, and employability.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging electrical installation training to apprentices for level 3 electrical installation (5357) for 18th edition wiring, advanced craft certificate
* Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of learners
* Assess progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure effective learning outcomes
* Provide one-to-one or small group support
* Maintain accurate records of learner progress and attendance
* Carry out on-site visits to review and assess apprentices in the workplace
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence
* Collaborate with colleagues to support learners with special educational needs
Qualifications
* Proven experience in teaching or tutoring or assessing, especially with apprentices
* You must be either assessor or teacher qualified
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping learners succeed
Salary and Benefits
* Salary £34,000 to £41,000 per annum
* 37 hours per week - Start at 8.30am and finish at 5pm
* Company pension
