A leading professional services advisory firm is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join its Cyber Security team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious cyber security professional to shape and drive the strategic cyber agenda for clients. The successful candidate will advise clients on cyber resilience, regulatory compliance, strategy, operating models, and security best practices. Responsibilities include leading high-impact engagements, navigating complex cyber threats, working with senior executives, managing teams, overseeing project delivery, contributing to thought leadership, and identifying business growth opportunities.
The position is hybrid, with flexibility to work remotely and in the office (Edinburgh or Glasgow) 2-3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Advisory & Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor, ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., FCA, PRA, NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR), develop relationships with CISOs, CIOs, Risk Managers, and Board Members, identify cyber challenges, and provide tailored risk mitigation solutions.
* Strategic Leadership & Business Growth: Define and implement go-to-market strategies, identify business opportunities, contribute to thought leadership, and lead responses to RFPs.
* Project Leadership & Cyber Security Delivery: Oversee complex cybersecurity projects, ensure timely delivery, manage areas like threat management, IAM, cloud security, incident response, security architecture, review technical assessments, and mentor teams.
