JMC Aviation are working with a MRO based near Cardiff, looking to recruit a new Support & Engine Storage Technician to join their team. This company are global leaders in Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft Storage and Disassembly services. The role has arisen as the company is growing on the maintenance arm of their business, while welcoming the introduction of a new hangar. The team are dedicated to delivering exceptional maintenance services, ensuring value at every step for some of the world's leading lessors and airlines. In a varied and dynamic environment, the company work with a diverse range of aircraft types and requirements - from short-term storage, complex modification packages, interior reconfigurations, to end-of-lease maintenance activities. This is a Permanent Position based near Cardiff, the working hours are Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week. Salary and Benefits: Highly Competitive Salary

The Role: The primary purpose of this role is to administer all aspects of engine wrapping and storage, and support 145 as specified under main responsibilities. Other duties involve: Carry out all periodic humidity inspections on all stored engines
Liaise with customer regarding events and rectification
Ensure all engines are covered under a storage or 145 contract
Maintain a register of engine ownership
Coordinate with Sales to ensure all engines remain under storage
Wrap all engines as per requirements
Ensure stock and serviceable tooling is maintained
Ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained in the engine bay
Carry out loading and unloading of all engines and cradles
Inspect and document (including pictures) all incoming engine cradles and engines
Maintain a forklift license (up to 15 ton) to support 145
Gain and maintain crane driver authorisation to support 145
Gain and maintain fuel bowser driver authorisation to support 145
Carry out facility and equipment maintenance and support activities for 145 as required
In order to be successful in this role the Support & Engine Storage Technician will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results.

Well organised person, capable of maintaining high levels of accuracy
Good communication and team working skills
Strong Manual Dexterity
Engine wrapping experience advantageous
Aircraft Maintenance background advantageous
Proficiency in IT (outlook and excel)
Fluent in English
Valid UK/EU driving license
