An innovative and confident SEN Teacher is required to fill a teaching position in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school in Burnley. The position is to begin in April 2024 and will be ongoing. This is a full-time class teacher position and SEN experience is essential. You will need to have a clear understanding of the GCSE curriculum, and of the expectations and assessment requirements for this key stage.
The school has a wonderful, long-standing success in providing children with an excellent experience in all aspects of school life. The staff team is positive, hard-working, and highly inclusive. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school on a supply basis.

The successful applicant must be:
3. Experienced with teaching in SEN
4. Confident with assessment in GCSE and SEN
5. A pro-active, reflective and imaginative practitioner
6. Available from April 2024
The successful Early Years Teacher will have the following:
7. Qualified Teacher Status, with SEN experience
8. A degree and PGCE, or equivalent
9. UK classroom experience
10. Eligibility to work in the UK
11. References that cover the last 2 full years
12. Have a fully enhanced DBS on the online update service, or be prepared to process a new one at a cost of £
