The Role
The Clinical Operations Manager / Lead will oversee and deliver clinical programmes across early and late-stage oncology studies. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, mission-driven biotech at a formative stage, shaping the clinical operations strategy and execution framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, start-up, execution, and delivery of oncology clinical trials.
* Manage CROs, vendors, and clinical sites, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
* Drive all aspects of study start-up, including site feasibility, selection, activation, and essential documentation.
* Develop and implement clinical operations strategies, budgets, and SOPs.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with translational science, regulatory, and programme teams to align operational goals.
* Build scalable systems and processes for efficient trial management and oversight.
Ideal Candidate
* Degree in Life Sciences or related field.
* Proven experience in clinical operations within biotech or pharma, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
* Strong background in oncology and/or cell therapy is necessary.
* Demonstrated expertise in study start-up and clinical trial execution.
* Skilled in vendor management, project planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Hands-on, proactive leader with exceptional communication and organisational skills.
