Overview
Senior Quantity Surveyor role at Mott MacDonald. Location: Oxford. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will assist the Associate/Projects Director or other defined line manager in business management, sales and the running of a cost consultancy team and the achievement of project and business goals.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the management of a Cost Consultancy team
* Take part in contract reviews relating to the contract with the customer
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and liaising with sub-divisional manager
* Assist with securing new and repeat business in line with the sub-divisional budget
* Comply with QES system and Group/Unit directives
* Preparation of estimates and cost plans in line with the brief
* Potential to engage with line management duties
Requirements
* Degree qualified in a Quantity Surveying subject (or equivalent)
* Proven skills and experience of delivering within a Cost Consultancy
* Demonstrable track record of working in the management services environment
* Expertise in stakeholder management
* Flexibility in work location and travel
* Previous experience of working on nuclear projects preferred
* Offers for this role are conditional upon obtaining the appropriate level of Security Clearance
Preferred, But Not Required
* MRICS qualified
* Excellent report writing skills
* Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
* Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Flexible approach to work

* Client side or consultancy experience
* Procurement/pre-contract experience
