Responsibilities

Main Duties of a Trainee Manager
* Assist the Manager in the day-to-day running of the Home.
* Ensure children and staff are safeguarded, supervised, and mentored.
* Promote relationships as central to the therapeutic approach.
* Provide empathetic leadership, coordinating the staff team.
* Deliver meaningful supervisions and promote reflective practice.
* Manage paperwork accurately, including Care Plans, Risk Assessments, and Behaviour Support Plans.
* Ensure Health and Safety Regulations are followed.
* Oversee financial budgets, administration, and record-keeping.
* MUST have 1 year\'s experience in Residential Children\'s Social Care (preferably as a Senior Support Worker).
* Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Residential Childcare.
* Understanding of Trauma-Informed Care and the PACE model.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
* UK Driving Licence.
* Confidence in understanding Children\'s Home Regulations and safeguarding requirements.
* Clear DBS and positive references from previous roles.
* Ability to deal with challenging situations in a nurturing and consistent way.
