* Role: Project & Process Manager - Sustainability
* Type: Temporary – 12 Months
* Location: Macclesfield – 3 days on-site per week / 2 days remote
Job Description:
The role involves managing projects and processes to support enterprise-wide sustainability transformation, embedding sustainability into all operations, and impacting flagship initiatives. Responsibilities include risk management, benefits & value management, quality and compliance standards adherence, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires ownership of business processes, cross-functional leadership, and representing Global Sustainability internally and externally.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading cross-functional sustainability projects using recognized project management frameworks
* Owning and improving business processes within Global Sustainability
* Providing expert input to transformational activities
* Developing and championing sustainability strategy
* Managing budgets, risks, and benefits of projects
* Communicating and influencing on sensitive issues
* Working with stakeholders across different levels and industries
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience in sustainability projects or functions
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Global and cultural awareness
* Ability to influence stakeholders
* Experience in regulated industries like pharmaceuticals
* Subject matter expertise in sustainability
* Experience managing projects in a matrixed environment
