Compliance Manager
As Compliance Manager you will ensure the company complies with its regulatory legal requirements and internal policies. You will oversee and develop compliance programmes, lead external audits and conduct internal audits providing training to ensure identified risks are mitigated.
Conglom International operates to; BRCGS, FSC and ISO14001:2015 standards, your primary role will be to ensure annual certification renewal and continuous improvement. Compliance is a busy area and encompasses pEPR, PRN, WEEE and battery data submissions together with EUDR and CBAM reporting.
You will continually assess the efficiency of controls in place; make changes and improvements where necessary whilst ensuring you keep up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations. You will interpret and communicate these changes to management, put new procedures in place where necessary to mitigate risks, ensuring the company remains compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
· BRCGS food storage and distribution standard certification management;
· FSC certification management;
· ISO14001:2015 certificate standard management;
· Packaging – pEPR and PRN compliance management and submission;
· WEEE and battery submission management; Desirable
· EUDR management;
· ESG management – including CBAM, carbon, environment & sustainability;
· Attend and minute operational and certificate standards; monthly, quarterly and annual meetings.
· Internal auditing to comply with all the above standards;
· Leading external audits for BRCGS, FSC and ISO14001 audits;
· Ensuring the company remains compliant with upcoming legislation & regulations

Competence:
Proven background in compliance is essential;
BRCGS, FSC and ISO14001 standard knowledge;
Proficient in both internal & external auditing;
Skilled written communication;
Sound knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks;
Understanding of pEPR, WEEE and battery legislation would be desirable;
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
