Job Title: General Manager - Facilities Management
Contract Personnel is seeking an experienced General Manager for an award-winning facilities management company based in North Walsham.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervising and participating in cleaning activities across various spaces, including floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms.
2. Managing staff rotas, holiday requests, conducting site audits, and assisting with recruitment.
3. Providing on-site training and maintaining accurate training records.
4. Assisting with investigations related to accidents or disciplinary matters.
5. Managing cleaning supplies, maintaining stock levels, and placing orders within budget.
Qualifications:
* Right to work in the UK.
* Previous managerial or supervisory experience in cleaning or related fields (highly desirable).
* Proficiency in managing rotas, staffing, training, and HR compliance.
* Full UK driving license.
* Strong computer literacy and experience with internal systems.
* Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt to flexible working hours.
Schedule:
Peak season: Monday to Saturday, 08:00–17:00 (with a day off in the week). Off-peak: Monday to Friday.
